Memorial Fund for Jorge Recalde
Dear family and friends,
On April 1, 2020, my loving grandfather, Jorge Recalde, left us to be with the Lord. He was 91 years old, but he was healthy with no serious health conditions. Unfortunately he became sick and pneumonia followed. After testing positive to COVID-19 virus, he fought as long as he could and sadly finally succumbed.
He was a faithful, loving, sweet, and kind soul. He leaves behind his wife of 67 years (Hilda Recalde), two daughters (Carmen and Margie), four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was truly an angel on earth and will greatly be missed in our lives.
Due to COVID-19 precautions we weren’t able to be there for his last moments on earth. Not being able to comfort, not only him, but each other has been so difficult and painful. Once we get to some normalcy in this world, we will have a memorial service for my grandfather.
I would like to thank the Doctors and Nursing staff who helped my grandfather and were there for him.
I know these may be trying times for everyone, so any help for my grandmother will be greatly appreciated. Also in lieu of flowers, monetary donations will be accepted here. Thank You and God bless everyone. ❤️

El 1 de abril de 2020, mi amoroso abuelito, Jorge Recalde, nos dejó para estar con el Señor. Tenía 91 años, pero estaba sano y no tenía problemas de salud graves. Lamentablemente se enfermó y le siguió una neumonía. Después de dar positivo al virus COVID-19, luchó tanto como pudo y finalmente sucumbió.
Era un alma fiel, amorosa, dulce y amable. Deja a su esposa de 67 años (Hilda Recalde), dos hijas (Carmen y Margie), cuatro nietos y cinco bisnietos. Fue un maravilloso esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano, tío y amigo. Realmente fue un ángel en la tierra y lo extrañaremos mucho en nuestras vidas.
Debido a las precauciones de COVID-19, no pudimos estar allí para sus últimos momentos en la tierra. No ser capaz de consolar, no solo a él, sino que el otro ha sido tan difícil y doloroso. Una vez que lleguemos a la normalidad en este mundo, tendremos un servicio conmemorativo para mi abuelito.
Me gustaría agradecer al personal de Doctores y Enfermería que ayudaron a mi abuelito y estuvieron allí para ayudarlo.
