Jennifer's back surgery

My name is Jennifer Greer. I'm a wife of a great husband, a mother of three wonderful daughters, and a grandmother of two amazing boys. I am a Licensed massage therapist and I love my job. But the work is physically demanding, and I injured my back. My diagnosis of a large, left L5/S1 disc extrusion, impinging on my spinal nerves requires surgery. Without surgery I will not be able to return to a normal life, unable to do even the simplest tasks. And without the surgery the risk of permanent nerve damage is very high. In January it was just small spikes of pain. I suddenly had trouble getting up in the morning so I went to the urgent care. The doctor there said it was just muscle stress, but it was getting worse. So I decided to go to a chiropractor. I had an x-ray there and they said that a bulging disc was bothering the nerves, which caused all the pain. I continued to see the chiropractor several days a week, and it helped. I was able to do normal everyday things again. Feeling better, I thought that I was ready to go to work. Everything was fine the first few days, but my back started to hurt again. On Father's Day during my first session, something went wrong. I experienced a wave of unimaginable pain. I felt nauseated and wobbly. My legs wouldn’t work right. I left the client on the table and barely made it to the breakroom before collapsing on my stomach. I’ve been bedridden since. That morning and every day I've layed on my bed and cried. The pain and the feeling of letting my clients, coworkers, and family down, of not being able to hold my children or grandchildren is all I can think about. I was reassured by my family that it wasn't my fault, and to not worry about what will happen with my job. I miss doing the things I love. I miss cuddling with my girls. I miss eating dinner and watching netflix, movies and tv with my family. I don't want to cry over the pain anymore. I want to wake up and feel ready to conquer the day. The surgery will cost $21,000. My family has no insurance. With the loss of my income combined with the extraordinary expense for the surgery, my family is experiencing an insurmountable financial hardship. Please Help.
