This is Sydney. She is our 6 year old Vizsla fur baby that was recently diagnosed with a hemangiopericytoma, a malignant tumor of her limb. She underwent one surgery already but unfortunately the vet was not able to remove it all. Her veterinary oncologist recommended radiation therapy for the best prognosis and to decrease the risk of metastasis. With radiation, she has about an 80% chance this will not reoccur for at least the next 3-5 years. This will hopefully give her many more years of tummy rubs, free hand outs of human food, and stalking birds in the backyard.

We are reaching out to ask for help from anyone that would be willing to donate towards our beautiful girl’s treatments. Radiation therapy will cost us approximately $8,500. She started Monday, June 15th and will continue 5 days per week for 4 weeks. Katie unfortunately lost her job (due to COVID layoffs) the day after we found out she needed radiation treatment. With your help, she can continue to live a long, happy life with her parents and little Vizsla sis, Macy, all who absolutely adore her.

Anyone that knows us knows that our dogs are our whole world. We cannot imagine a life without her and will do anything we possibly can to avoid this potentially becoming fatal. Thank you so much for your consideration and generosity.
