Our family has been going through tremendous heartache this summer.
Because things are still going on, I cannot talk a lot about it yet but promise to update once I'm able to and I will tell you what I can!
My granddaughter is the most wonderful baby!!
She is my beautiful 19 month old grand daughter with special needs. For the last year she has been with me and I have cared for her, loved her and have done everything and more that she has needed! Which includes 6 therapy appts a week and specialist every 1-3 months.
Adoption
I was in the process of adopting my granddaughter(her mother consenting) as I have the means to give her everything she needs and she can still have a relationship with her mom and all of her family members! Through some vicious lies and torturous intent of people, she was ripped from our home, the only home she has ever known!!
We have proven our innocence and yet we are still fighting to get our beautiful girl back!
The love and the struggle
Babygirl means the world to us. She is my heart. My 6 year old son adores her and misses her every day. Her determination to get past her special needs and do things that come so easy to other babies, such as crawling is amazing and inspiring! Her beautiful smile lights up our world, her sweet giggle fills up our hearts. We are lost without her. We have an attorney and we are fighting for her return to us, to her home.
I'm not one to ask generally for any kind of help, I'm very independent and feel guilty asking but with 2 surgeries, attorney fees, all bills for 2 households, an adoption my father passing away unexpectedly and one wage earner unable to work we really need a little bit of help.
