About the Community Center
On September 1st, 2014, House of Dance Twin Cities will open the doors to our Hip Hop arts community center, set to be conveniently located just west of downtown Minneapolis. Opening this Hip Hop arts community center has been our biggest goal since our establishment. This center will be the first of its kind in Minnesota, placing emphasis on the positive art forms of Hip Hop Culture, which include DJing, MCing/rap, aerosol art, and dance.

With this creative space, our goal is to provide a productive, safe, and fun place that interacts with the community through Hip Hop arts-based programs, classes, and community events. We aim to engage people in fun activities that cultivate creative expression, self-empowerment, and positive change within the community. Our goal is to sustain our center in order to provide quality space and services for our students, artists, and community.

Some services that House of Dance Twin Cities will provide through our center are:
• Dance Instruction (Group Classes/Private Lessons)
• Hip Hop Classes (DJing, Arts & Crafts, etc.)
• Special guest seminars
• Youth programs and activities
• A creative space for other dancers and artists
