Service Dog for Alex 'awesome' Coombes

Hi there Friends and Family,

If there is one thing in this world that Alex loves and understands, it is dogs.  As Alex's mother and sole provider, I want nothing more than for him to be safe, happy, and a part of the community.  But- this is the hard part: Alex has a limited ability to function in the community due to his behavioral issues.  Although Alex tends to get overwhelmed and anxious in community and social situations, I think a service dog could really help ease his fears and help him thrive at home, at school, and in the community.  As you all can see, Alex really connects with dogs and looks to them as a form of therapy.  We have more than enough room in our hearts to welcome a service dog for Alex, and that dog would be rewarded for it's dedication with a loving home.  Please help me make Alex's dreams come true.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
