Malawi Missions Trip

Dear Friends and Family,
On October 19, 2014, l will have the privilege of going on my first missions trip to Nadzuluwa, Malawi with Reid Temple AME Church's Global Evangelism and Outreach (GEO) Ministry. Malawi is a landlocked country in southeast Africa and is bordered by Zambia, Tanzania and Mozambique.
GEO is partnering with World Christian Concern (WCC) on behalf of Somebody Cares and Malawi. Somebody Cares brings hope to the dying, sick, suffering and most of all, the ones affected -- vulnerable and orphaned children and widows. The GEO ministry has enjoyed the privilege of growing as Christ's disciples as they have served in ministry alongside and underneath the leadership of our U.S. and Malawian partners. With brothers and sisters who share a heart and passion for His kingdom endeavor, we will spend time on the ground with our partners and one another, exploring ministry opportunities, serving people in the local communities, and praying to discern His will for what's next.
I'm excited about the experience that is ahead and the opportunity to delve deeper into God's global kingdom work for His glory through His Church in this age. I hope you see the value in what we will accomplish. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. I need to raise $3,500 by August 15th. If you can support me in a financial way, I would be very grateful. And, most importantly, I also need your prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow God's leading in ministry in Malawi. Without prayer, nothing will happen.
