Brain cancer treatment

On the 4th of September our 9 years old daughter Amelia Gradziel was diagnosed with the malignant brain tumor. 3 days later she has undergone a successful surgery. We had so much hope in this difficult time but when the pathology loresults came back our lives were thrown into a tragic chaos. We were told Amelia's tumor is a grade 4 Medulloblastoma with a poor to intermediate clinical outcome. Within 4 weeks after surgery and further medical procedures like spinal tap and an infusor port placement our brave Angel started very agressive treatment plan. Amelia underwent 30 radiotherapy sessions and 6 weeks of chemotherapy. The conventional treatment found Amelia loosing weight to a dangerous level that could cause cachexia, constant nausea, overall weakness and inability to enjoy daily activities, burnt throat, constipation......


She was given 4 weeks break but still needs to receive even more agressive chemotherapy that would need to continue until September 2018. Being so weak and seeing her loosing strenght we are concerned that she may not survive this treatment or that further treatment will make her permanently disabled.




Lately we were encouraged by people of good will to set up this fundraiser to try a different form of treatment.

We trust God Amelia will survive this battle with cancer. With your help Amelia and her dad could travel to USA for an alternative cancer treatment which we hope will have less side effects and will help Amelia to live longer. Your generous donation could help us with treatment, travel and accomodation expenses while in USA and in Adelaide with a follow up medication. We do not expect everyone to give as we understand how difficult life can be for many. The kind words and prayers are also needed for which we will be very grateful.
