Vet bills for Jesse

 Jesse, who I've had since he was 12 weeks old and is now almost 12 years... is ill and we don't know what's wrong -- yet.

He has been my best friend and companion through some really tough challenges over these past few years, and saw me through all of them. When he's well, he plays with his BFF Tennessee (who lives downstairs) and has entire conversations with me. Sits with me at my desk and steals my freshly washed socks.

But over the past 2 months he's lost 2 pounds, won't eat often (or much), he wakes startled several times a night, and seems to have trouble navigating certain small jumps and doorways that he's never had trouble with before. He used to only sleep wrapped around my right shin. Then for two full weeks he was only under the bed. Now he's sleeping right next to my head (and each time he wakes I do my best to calm him and he goes back to sleep).

He's already seen the Vet - and by the time you read this it will be twice. The tests are very expensive -- and because of some of the challenges I've had in the not too distant past, I don't have the funds to cover it. I'm hoping that other pet lovers will be able to help out as best they can - so I can get Jesse whatever he needs.

btw- his full name is "Jesse James you freaking Bandit". He's not so bandit-like right now.
