Help me continue my music education

Hello, my name is Jiana Dominguez Wessel. I am first generation college student. My parents come in from Cuba on the Mariel. I am the first in my family to go to college and therefore, have met a lot of challenges along the way. I gone to college on and off, while battling with my dad having liver cancer. On January 27th, 2011, he lost the battle.

Ever since my father's passing I have been struggling trying to work and pay for my own tuition, since I exhausted my financial aid being in and out of college. There was even a point last semester where I was working four jobs and trying to go to go to college fulltime. This year my husband's step dad passed away, which led to an unexpected trip to his hometown and more financial instability.

This will be the year I finish my associates at MDC in music. My father loved music and he always enjoyed hearing me sing. Please help me cover my expenses of tuition, books, college supplies and food. Help me make my dream come true.
