Help My Dream Job Takeoff
My GoFundMe goal is to turn C. Fulsty Books into my career instead of it just being a side job.
I write rhyming Children's Picture Books and illustrate most of them. With Twelve books done and one more being released in September, I still have plenty more I'm excited to create. Four of my twelve books benefit 501(C3) charities like the Tony Sly Music Foundation For Kids (two books), Colorado Veterans Project, and Punk Rock Saves Lives. Each correlating book benefits that charity with 100% of the profits going directly to them. The book being released in September will also benefit charities. These charities are not official yet.

The Pressing Monster - (Picture Above)
A close to home story about a robot named Dep that struggles with depression. Losing interest in things it once loved, low energy, and just feeling down are all things this robot is affected with until it discovers what the cause is. The books includes a nod to everyone else struggling with depression, some inspirational words and resources for anyone looking for help to manage their depression.
Tony's Butterflies - (Sequel is Tony Fly Tames The Sky)
This book was written in collaboration with the Tony Sly Music Foundation For Kids in remembrance of Tony Sly. The main character, Tony Fly, goes missing while his two daughters are playing hide-and-seek with him. The story teaches about losing a loved one and can be a great, child-friendly way to teach about the difficult topic of death. Bonus content is included in the book if you're a fan of the punk band, No Use For A Name.
I Bark You
My attempt to help with the misunderstanding of Pitbulls, I Bark You follows a loving Pitbull named Graw that is surrendered to a rescue. The story shows how all she wants to do is love a forever family but no-one understands her. The poor girl realizes her only family now is a worn blanket. My Wife told me she's never reading this book again because it made her want to hug our dogs and shower them in love. Nailed it!

What the money from my goal will go to:
- $100 roughly to cover GoFundMe fees
- $600 to self-publish my books into hardcover and get them into other distribution channels aside from Amazon/KDP (Ingramspark)
- $600 to purchase ISBN numbers needed for hardcover books
- $800 for marketing
- $2000 to submit books to TaleFlick which can get my books in front of movie and TV producers. Fingers crossed for a C. Fulsty and Pixar/Dreamworks movie in the future
- $1000 for legal registrations, copyrights, and fees
- *$100* over the goal will pay for a bottle of champagne to celebrate reaching our goal and hopefully celebrating a C. Fulsty book being made into a TV series on Nickelodeon.
I know I'm shooting fairly high on this goal, but this is everything I feel I need to launch my books from a hobby into my career. Then I can put more time and effort into every future book.
