Dear Brother Rob:
This letter is to advise that through our telephone conversations and written communications, it is evident to me, as well as to the ministry team of Christ Risen Ministries, that you have a great desire to communicate the gospel of peace and the finished work of Jesus to the local community of Cedar Rapids and to the world.
We note that your Facebook page, "Friends of God International," has already reached several million people in 25 countries worldwide with the Good News of forgiveness of sins and a new life in Christ Jesus about which the Apostle Paul so faithfully preached.
It is our sincere desire that you come to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and join our ministry team as the Assistant Pastor of Christ Risen Ministries. Thank you for giving this your thoughtful and prayerful attention.

My testimony:
I was laid off in 2013 after working 45 years and it did not to take long to lose everything but my wife's car and our personal belongings. We will be out of our house very soon.
I have managed the FB page "Friends of God International" sharing the good news of new life in Christ Jesus for over a year. On the best week I reached 750,000 people in 25 different countries. All told, several million people
have been reached in those countries with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of that page I was contacted by the pastor of Christ Risen Ministries in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to come and serve on their ministry team as an assistant pastor. I have dreamed of doing this very thing since I was a young teenager at church camp. We already have international mission trips planned. I am not taking this position to sit and retire. I am taking it to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.
The amount requested is to cover a final utility bill on our house, living expenses until the move, rental truck and gas for the trip, a one night stay in an economy hotel, food on the trip. My wife will not be going on this initial trip.
