From a vibrant and active individual to a man now crippled from the loss of a right leg and severe complications in his left leg; no income and no means of support; a father of five young children; lies in Memorial Herman hospital in shock, pain and disbelief at the outcome of a recent auto accident that took place on July 14, 2014 near Bush Intercontinental Airport as his cab stopped to pick up a passenger. Standing at the rear of the cab he was pinned in between the front of the other vehicle. He was sent by life flight to Memorial Herman Hosptital in the Medical Center. Lives have been forever altered because of this tragic accident and his family now suffers a profound grief connectd with this travesty. His family is in dire need of funds to cover rent, utilities and basic food needs. Months of rehabilitation lie ahead for Gul Rashid ("Daniel") and it will be months before he can return to work. He does not have access to unemployment, workers compensation or any other means of income. Any donation amount will be appreciated and used to make a difference during this difficult time.
His wife, Abida, and his children Sameer (15), Awais (12), Munir (7), Rania (2 1/2) and Shawaiz (1 1/2) are asking you to reach out to their family with your prayer and support as they endeavor to cope with this terrible accident that has befallen their husband
