Diego's Medical Fund

Diego has gotten very sick with staphylococcus aureus, which is also known as MSRA. This is a bacterium that causes infections in different parts of the body. It's tougher to treat than most strains of staphylococcus aureus -- or staph -- because it's resistant to some commonly used antibiotics. His infection has taken a turn for the worse and has caused him to have part of his foot amputated. He is currently bedridden in the hospital and doctors are doing everything they can to prevent the infection from spreading. If his body does not respond well to the treatment, then his amputation will have to go even further than it already has. Diego's amputation surgery and his current treatment are costly and his medical bills are increasing more and more every day. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him and we are praying that God will move in miraculous ways in his situation. He is not only struggling physically, he is also struggling emotionally with the loss of part of his foot and the possibility of more being amputated. He does not have the financial means to pay for all of the bills that have mounted as a result of this terrible infection.
