MISSION IN ACTION

Hello to all friends, family and new friends!! To those who know me and those who don't know me my name is Robert Pabon. I recently did a mission trip in Nicaragua with a catholic missionary group called "Mision En Accion" in English is called Mission in Action. Basically we are a small missionary group where every year we get a group of volunteers from different catholic churches and go to a town called Los Cruceros in Nicaragua and do missionary work for an orphanage of 30 plus kids. There are girls and boys running from 4months to 15 years of age. This year July 2014 was my first missionary trip and experience. And I have to say it was an amazing and truly humbling experience. It was really hard for me to leave those beautiful humble kids on the last day of our mission, it was emotional for them to see us leave. Adults giving them love and attention. Something they do not have, the only love and attention they get is from the nuns who take care of them. So this mission made me realize it is not over for me. So now I’m on a mission! On a mission to raise $3,200 by next year to replace 28 windows, so these kids are able to sleep nice and warm. It’s a small donation compare to what else we need to repair for them next year, but my personal mission is to raise this amount of money just for windows. Their orphanage is up in the mountains in a very poor area where it gets really cold at night. In the winter time temperatures can drop to 20 degrees with gusty winds at least 10-15 mph on a daily because of how high up in the mountains they live in, so windows are very important for them. All I’m asking is for any donations possible from all of you so we can replace these windows by next year. Please see it in your hearts to help these kids with any donations.
