Desde que tenía 21 años, me diagnosticaron insuficiencia renal degenerativa crónica conocida como glomerulosclerosis focal y segmentaría (FSGS). Hace más de 20 años, fue un golpe muy duro para mí, así como para mi familia. ¡Nadie está preparado para recibir noticias que cambian la vida como esa! En aquellos años, no era normal que un joven sufriera de enfermedad renal, y no había tanta información como la que existe hoy día.

<div>La enfermedad renal es una enfermedad silenciosa que no genera ningún síntoma en las primeras etapas. He tenido que adaptarme con los recursos que tengo disponibles en términos de comida, ejercicio y hábitos diarios para mantenerme lo más saludable posible. Evito los alimentos agresivos para mis riñones, como embutidos , alimentos enlatados y procesados ,carnes rojas, dulces, chocolates y algunas frutas y verduras,alcohol ,cigarros ,refrescos mariscos etc .Los problemas y síntomas generados por la enfermedad y los efectos secundarios de la medicación consisten en dolores de cabeza constantes, hinchazón o edemas en piernas y pies ,espuma en orina  mareos, somnolencia, insomnio, irritabilidad, falta de concentración, depresión, ansiedad, náuseas y desequilibrio de electrolitos. Todos estos son síntomas que no se ven, pero se sienten. Hoy, estoy aquí pidiendo ayuda sin el propósito de lucro o mal uso de ello , solo con la intención de poder solventar  los gastos de trasplante y pos trasplante renal así como medicamentos, pruebas de laboratorio, visitas al médico, etc. Estoy agradecido por todo el apoyo recibido por mi familia, hermanos, padres, tíos, primos y amigos.
