Hey guys!
I'm excited to share with you that starting August 15th 2014 I will be working as an orphanage volunteer for a program in Tanzania, Africa. I will be volunteering with an organization called International Volunteer HQ that sends people from all over the world to countries where the people are in need.
Many Sub-Saharan African countries like Tanzania are suffering from a huge number of orphans left behind after their parents die from illnesses such as HIV/AIDS. Also, sometimes the parents simply cannot provide for the children or they have been abandoned, increasing the number of orphans in Tanzania. The work that I will be doing at the orphanage will range from cooking and cleaning to teaching, farm work, caring for children and babies, and assisting with feeding programs.
As you can imagine there are a lot of expenses. I am working full-time, but I will need some extra help so anything you can give will be much appreciated.
I am unbelievably excited to take this adventure and see what difference I can make in the world! Any donation helps and I thank you ahead of time for helping make this possible!
