Sports Outreach Internship

I am raising money for an internship I am doing this upcoming semester for an organization called Sports Outreach Institute (SOI). They do amazing work in Lynchburg (and across the world), specifically focusing on youth development. SOI empowers at-risk youth to learn valuable skills like teambuilding, self-confidence and leadership. This organization believes (and I do too!) that sports can be a great platform for learning these skills in a fun and active environment.  

Through this internship, I will get the chance to become a role model for youth in the Lynchburg community using the sport I love - soccer! As some of you know, I'm a Sport Management major and have been playing soccer since I was 6. This opportunity means a lot to me because I get to share the positive influence soccer has had on my life with at-risk youth in the Lynchburg community. Here is a picture of me in action!



I am very excited to be able to work with these kids through Sports Outreach! The money you donate enables me to participate in the internship and it will be used to pay me for it! About 15% of the money will go to administrative costs - so that SOI can continue to exist! Please donate whatever amount you can because every little bit helps! Thank you!
