Fix Beaver Dam Rotary Lights

Each year, Beaver Dam Rotary works to make the city more family friendly place, by putting Holiday Lights at Swan Park. Hundreds of people gather to see the lights and families have a place to go and celebrate the holidays together. Children and adults love the holiday spirit, and everyone driving by is able to see the fruits of the hard work from the past year put on display. 

Vandalism is nothing new, but this year it has become extreme. Some person (or people) thought it would be fun to play Grinch and destroy these lights, causing an estimated $3000 in damages  to this beautiful display. Those who have spent countless hours building these displays are absolutely devastated, and defeated. So many people came together to make this display possible, and it took just a few to try to ruin the holiday spirit. 

We are looking for donations to help fix these displays and show those who have worked on it the appreciation for their hard work. We can't let a few people ruin the holiday spirit for our city. Some people do terrible things, but our city is bigger than that and it's time to show them what we are all about.
