My Dad, Glenn, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma 5 years ago. He has managed to control it, and is about to undergo his second stem cell transplant. My Dad is one of the most caring, selfless and strongest person I have ever met.
Multiple Myeloma is a extremely rare form of Cancer. It is a Cancer of the blood that develops from plasma cells in the bone marrow. It is incurable but controllable. I am wanting to start raising more awareness and get the word out there.
We are running the 10km Blackmores run in September to raise awareness. The more the merrier so please book through the Blackmores website, join our group, #byemyeloma and join us in the fun run! Let me know if you're joining.
