Helping Bekah and Her Family

Dear friends, new and old,
Let me introduce you to my friend Bekah, in the small chance that you previously have not met, and if that's the case, you truly are missing out. Bekah is the light of life and has overcome and worked through some seriously hard life. She has her masters in teaching, became board certified this last year, and teaches 5th grade! She is a single mom, a dedicated and loyal colleague, a favored teacher, and the best friend anyone could ask for. Her love and passion for life inspires all her light touches.
Last year, Bekah was diagnosed with Stage II Papillary Carcinoma (Thyroid Cancer). You can see her journey since diagnosis at CaringBridge under rayray1.
Bekah has been cancer free and her life that was once in question is now thriving!
Why am I asking for help from you? Well, Bekah has been able to make arrangements with all service providers and hospitals on payment plans that she can afford - all except for one. On the 21st of July, she was served papers by a collection agency. She has attempted to make dozens of plans with them and had even said when she would be able to pay the bill in its entirety and they were not able tie over due to the requested bill amount not covering all of the interest incurred. Unfortunately, they also gave a deadline of 20 days for the bill to be paid or court proceedings will begin, which come with additional costs that are not affordable. This is where you come in. Any help you can give is helpful and is most sincerely appreciated, even in the smallest amount. If you are not able to contribute financially, please feel free to share this message, and we most sincerely appreciate your support and friendship just the same. The next 18 days will be critical. August 8th is our deadline.
