MARKS JOURNEY

Our lives changed drastically on July 27 2018!! My baby sister's husband Mark Archibeque suffered a stroke.  She came home from work to find her husband paralyzed on his right side and slurred speech n his face drooping. The called 911 and the Ambulance picked him up n transported him to the hospital.. there he spent 4 days in ICU. from there they transported him to a rehabilitation center where he spent almost 4 weeks in rehabilitation.  
If you all know my brother in law he is one of the hardest workers ever.  He provides for his family non stop.  With that being said... he has exhausted all his sick/vacation time from work  and so has Betty.  They have filled out all the paperwork they need for short term disability to FMLA and are waiting for response.  Mark has to have a prosthesis made for his right leg.... and of course that comes with a hefty price of $1200 which is NOT covered by insurance.   Ramps where installed by my daddy and Tommy so that Mark can enter  his home.  Marks home had to become wheelchair accessible n the bathroom also had to be changed up with shower chair n toilet seat riser,,,which again is NOT  covered by insurance. .
And of course their  living expenses... they are slowly getting behind on their bills.  The family has kicked in to sit with Mark while Betty is at work.   Betty no longer has time to take off from work. She takes off time when Mark has a Drs Appt.  
Mark is progressing well.. His right leg is getting better faster than his right arm. He's speech is perfect.  MARK has a long road to recovery but he has surpassed his goals he has so far made.  We as a family are asking for help for Mark so they don't loose what  they have worked so hard for.
