My name is Rocio. I am 22 years old and I am currently in application with the Carmelite Nuns of Brooklyn, NY. This means, yes, I feel called by our good Lord to the religious life, to become a Sister. And yes, the kind of Sister I find the Lord is inviting me to be is the cloistered kind. (I thought it was crazy at first too, but the fact that I now have an open heart to all of this is proof that God exists ;). In October I will be going on a pilgrimage to Spain to visit the Carmelite monasteries founded by St.Teresa of Avila. This trip will be of utmost importance and influence before I enter the convent. Please help me get there. Our Lord is not outdone in generosity and will bless your kindness to me. :)
