<div>For the past 12 years, BxArts Factory has been powered almost entirely by love, dedication, and volunteer service. What began as a grassroots effort grew into a creative home for artists, neighbors, and community members throughout the Bronx. Together, we built spaces for artistic expression, meaningful connections, cultural exchange, and community engagement.

</div>
<div>Today, with heavy hearts, we share that BxArts Factory will be dissolving as a nonprofit organization.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This has been an incredibly difficult decision. Over time, our volunteer team became smaller, while the work and financial responsibilities needed to sustain the organization continued to grow. Like many small nonprofit organizations, we have reached a point where we can no longer continue operating despite our deep commitment to the community we love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While BxArts Factory is closing, the impact of our mission will continue. We are grateful to see other organizations, artists, and community leaders carrying forward the work of supporting Bronx artists and strengthening our neighborhoods through creativity. We hope that BxArts Factory has been a positive example and a source of inspiration—not only for the artists we served, but for the Bronx community and beyond.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our organization may be coming to an end, but its spirit lives on in the artists we supported, the opportunities we helped create, and the countless relationships and collaborations that grew from our work. Those connections cannot be dissolved.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As we prepare to officially end our lease at 240 East 153rd Street on September 30, 2026, we are doing everything we can to ensure a responsible and respectful transition. We are working with our landlord and community partners to help artists remain in their studios and to preserve the creative energy that has made this space so special.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How can you help?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, as with many nonprofits that close, there are still important loose ends that must be tied up. We are asking for your support to help us complete this transition as responsibly as possible. Donations will help cover outstanding debts, final operational expenses, and the overhead costs associated with closing and transferring management of the space.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every gift, no matter the amount, will help us:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Cover remaining organizational debt and financial obligations
</li>
<li>Fund essential overhead and administrative costs related to dissolution
</li>
<li>Support the transition of the studio space before our lease ends on September 30, 2026
</li>
<li>Ensure that we can close BxArts Factory with integrity and care
</li>
<li>Preserve the legacy of 12 years of community-driven arts programming
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If BxArts Factory has ever inspired you, supported an artist you know, hosted an event you attended, provided a creative home, or strengthened your connection to the Bronx arts community, we humbly ask for your help today.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your networks. Your support—whether financial or through spreading the word—means more than we can express.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for believing in community arts. And thank you for helping us close this chapter with the same integrity, compassion, and commitment that guided us for the last twelve years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Laura, Tiffanee, Yolanda &amp; The BxArts Factory Team ❤️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The organization may be ending, but the community, creativity, and connections it fostered will continue to grow.
