Johnson Family Fire Fund

Spende geschützt

On July 14, 2014 a lightening storm rolled through Okanogan County forever changing the lives of many residents of Okanogan County. It has now grown to be the largest wild land fire in the states history.  Three days later on July 17, 2014 my supervisor, Sergeant Jennifer Johnson of the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office Dispatch, left her home to come to work, knowing that her house was in the path of the fire.  20 minutes after she left, a neighbor went to her house and told her husband John  they needed to leave because the fire was near. John, pictured above, and their daughter Jenna got their animals and what momentoes they could and left.  The next day the family returned to learn they had lost everything.

Jennifer only missed one day of work, but because she is so selfless, she returned to make sure none of her co-workers were overburdened by her absence. When she arrived at work, she still had a smile on her face despite loosing everything!

Those who know Jennifer know that she is one of the kindest people they have ever known.  She brings out the best in those that know her and call her friend!  If this had happened to anyone else that Jennifer knew, It would definitely be her typing this letter trying to help!

Jennifer is an avid bowler and horse lover.

If you can help financially, please do.  If you would like to send a card too, here is her work address:
