Bob's Bilateral Lung Transplant

I would like to introduce you to my husband, Robert (Bob) Lorice Ryle, born 11/15/56, age 59.  I met Bob in 1988 at the VIP Lounge in Anderson, IN on April 2, 1988.  It was my sister's birthday and her and I was celebrating her birthday.  All of a sudden we starting getting Free drinks sent to our table, and couldn't figure out who was sending them.  Finally, the waitress who was bringing them, "said watch where I take these drinks to and you will know who it is" as we wanted to thank them.  Low and behold it was Bob and his cousin Tom sending them.
When he told me they were Bob and Tom, of course we didn't believe them because of the well know Bob and Tom radio show, so we ask to see their ID.  Yes, they were actually Bob and Tom.  We introduced ourselves, Teresa and Tammy, thanked them for the drinks and they walked us to my car. Bob asked me for my phone number, which I gladly gave to him, and he also wanted to sneek a kiss, which I didnot give to him.  Ahhhhh so sad, but it didn't end there.
At the time, I lived in Bloomington, IN, so this would be a long distance relationship.  Didn't think it would go any further.  But, again I was wrong.  I received a phone call from Bob asking if he could come to Bloomington for a date.  I said Okay.   
Well, he had just recently returned from serving in the US Navy for 10 1/2  years, April 1974 to October 1984,  and didnot have a car.  He wanted to come see me so bad, that he rode the Greyhound bus from Anderson to Bloomington and I picked him up from the bus station in Bloomington.  He got off the bus carrying a brown paper bag with his personel belongings in it.  Another sad, ahhhhhh.  I think he would have walked to Bloomington to see me again.  He rode that bus several times to Bloomington to see me.
We got to know each other over a year together, which during that year, he got a job in Bloomington at B&L Roofing company, moved in with me and my 3 daughters, and he proposed to me on Christmas 1988 asking me to Marry  him.  And you know the answer "YES".   We set a wedding date for April 22, 1989. We will be married for 27 years this April.
Bob is a caring, generous, and would do anything for anybody guy.  Always hard working, never missing a day of work.  Roofing he did from 1984 to 2010, 26 years of dedication.  His current company, Blackmore and Buckner, in Indianapolis forced him to take a early retirement in 2010,  due to his breathing condition.  It was extremely hard for him to climb a ladder or lift anything.  After having a pulmonary function test, he was told he should apply for disability, because his lungs were that bad. Diagnosis of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.   So he did apply for disability, and within a month and a half he was awarded disability.  Of course, we were in total shock, that he was not denied and needing to get an attorney to appeal his case.  So that was in our favor.  
The bad news from his pulmonary specialist Doctor was he needed a lung transplant to extend his life.  Because of being so young at the time, in his 50's, they said 2 lungs was recommended.  Bob has been on oxygen 24/7 since 2010.  He has attended his pulmonary rehab twice a week for 4 years, still bowls twice a week and has not let this horrible disease get him down.
Besides being in the Navy breathing in dangerous fumes for 10 1/2 years, being a roofer for 26 years breathing in aspalht, glue, and dangerous chemicals, Bob also was a smoker for 40 years contribuating to his lung damage.
He has not smoked since January 2015 and is ready to get his new lungs. He is having more bad days now than good.  Even on oxygen he has trouble getting a good breath.  Very scarey not able to breath.
The money will be used for living expenses after his transplant.  The Lung Transplant team requires after he is dismissed from the hospital, we live in Indianapolis for 30 days to allow him to be closer to the hospital in case of complications from the transplant.   Money will be used for lodging, food, and gas to get back and forth to the hospital on a daily basis after the transplant.  The money will be needed within the next 30-60 days.
We live from pay check to pay check, renting a home in Chesterfield, IN, at $750 monthly,  so your help for Bob would be greatly appreciated.  He has done so much for other people in his lifetime, has so many friends who care about him and myself, his wife, who loves him so much to the moon and back.   I just don't know how I would survive without him.  I guess am asking that you find it in your heart to give anything at all, small or large.  Everyone's help is so appreciated.
