Help Casper the Pup get his surgery

Fernando was driving home Sunday evening and witnessed a van run over a white dog. The van didn't stop. The car behind the van nearly ran him over again, but luckily the pup was right between the tires! Fernando couldn't help but go over to the pup to check on him- Casper was crying, struggling to stand, and had urinated on himself.

Today, I called multiple vets and rescue shelter in hopes of getting help for Casper. With fingers crossed, Fernando was able to take him to a vet early this morning.They gave him pain meds and took some x-rays. The results were not what we were hoping for.

Casper needs surgery to help repair his hind leg. His joint bone broke off and is stuck in his pelvis. The surgery, pain meds amd extra care will cost $1242.18. The vet bill Monday was $227.61 and $110 today.

Unfortunatly, we are not able to cover the additional treatment for Casper- but we refuse to leave him out in the street or take him to a shelter. He's been through enough. We are hoping to be able to raise enough money to take care of him and help him heal from this car accident.

All of the money will go to vet bills. We will take care of him for 2 weeks for the swelling to go down before the vet can operate. We also promise to take care of him after the surgery and give him lots of TLC. We also promise to find him a good forever home.

We have 4 dogs of our own and in less than 48 hours Casper already has a soft spot in our hearts. Please help us raise enough money to provide this surgery for Casper!
