The Oso Pony Shock 9U All Star baseball team hails from Corpus Christi, Texas, also known as "The Sparkling City by the Sea." Corpus Christi is well-known for its baseball prowess and has become a haven for South Texas baseball.
These twelve players have been selected from the Oso Pony Baseball League, which has seen five of its All Star Teams advance to the State and Zone levels in their 2014 respective divisions.
Oso Shock has compiled a 18-1 record throughout the All Star season and won 1st place in the Invitational, Sectional, South Super Regional and South Zone Tournaments.
Oso Shock attributes it's success to three vital elements: (1) Fundamental Baseball (2) Playing with heart and (3) Having fun.
This All Star season has been rewarding in the fellowship we've experienced, friends we've made and accolades we've earned. Although trophies and medals may tarnish and fade away, the memories we have made will be remembered forever!
