Bwindi Family Orphan Fund

Donation protected
Last year in Uganda, a family of seven children lost their parents.  Often, in Uganda, this leaves kids hungry, homeless, and without further education, but surprisingly, these kids have been fed, housed, and are still in school.

How have they survived?  Members of their impoverished community, most living on just a few dollars per week themselves, have supported them.  But, as they grapple with poverty, the locals have very little more to give.

On a research abroad for Brigham Young University, we became friends with Barnabas Oyesiga, a local community leader who took it upon himself--along with his community--to help support of these kids.

Moved by Barnabas' compassion and by a realization that we have been given much , we resolved to help these orphans, but we need your help.

Our goal is to raise $8,000, which would provide clothing, food, school fees and supplies for all of them for about three years.

Check out our video to learn more about us, the kids, their village of Buhoma, and our friend Barnabas.  Let's work together to keep these kids sheltered, fed and safe.
