Uganda Mission Trip with Hope4Kids Intl

On November 4, 2014, I will be departing for Tororo, Uganda to work with Hope 4 Kids International.  More specifically, I will be involved in the Mission 4 Character Roundtable programs designed to build up individuals through character building lessons based on 40 principles of Self Government, Productivity, Management and Leadership.  

For the past 2 years or so, I have been feeling the tug of foreign missions and in November of 2013, I was privileged to meet Pastor Ruth Kahawa, founder of Smile Africa in Tororo.  Through this meeting and my growing friendship with Wendy Stokes, a strong supporter and laborer with H4KI, I have the opportunity to go!  

I believe strongly that this experience will provide me with insight, tools and knowledge that will benefit our local ministry, The L.I.F.E. Project and Relevant Life Ministries.  The L.I.F.E. Project is a local, hands-on ministry providing immediate support and help to people right here in our own communities with things like groceries, clothing, household goods, and prayer.  Our belief is that Love Is For Everyone and that everything we do should be compelled by the Love of God.
