Hi,,my name is Leanne Neiser and I am writing the hardest thing I’ve had to write in my life. This story starts with an amazing story, but it has such a tragic end. Richard Met Marina on Facebook when they were 16 life didn’t bring them together, but when Marina found herself pregnant with her first born son Keegan, their relationship blossomed Richard stepped in to become the man this young boy needed in his life so in 2012 they started their love affair only to add two more to the fold Kalayna our little ray of sunshine and Kayson our little man. They now are 12,10,9 years old. This is the time when children need their daddy most. Marina and Richard married June 2017. Richard realized with his family growing he needed a better career so he joined the ironworkers union 728 in 2015 to help provide and make a beautiful life for his wife and children. Richard was loved by all because he was fun, loving and crazy wrapped in wonderful. then tragically on November 5, 2025. Richard was killed in a horrible accident away at work in Lanigan Saskatchewan. This man was a wonderful husband, father ,son, uncle ,nephew, and cousin to so many. He spent so much of his time at his son‘s football games and when he was away, he would make sure his brother Austin was always there to Cheer him on. When he was home, it was easy to find him ,he was cuddled up on the couch with his whole family,watching the Winnipeg Jets or the Minnesota Vikings as he was a huge hockey fan. If these games weren’t on this sport advocate would have football or baseball. That’s what kept him going. Richard was a true definition of what a family man should be, so today I’m reaching out to all who knew him or didn’t know him, but can understand that this leaves a young family with huge struggles. We need help first to bring him home,cause this is of course is expensive. We also need to help with additional day-to-day expenses for his wife untill she can get back on her feet as his family needs her more than ever, and finally, it would be amazing to see some extra money to be put away for the children’s future in an education fund since their father can no longer provide this. I asked you all now to open your hearts and your wallet and help us bring Richard home.
