Car insurance help
Seeking help for a single parent who has not gotten their stimulus check yet! There is no reason why they would be counted out from the stimulus payments and they got the first one without trouble. It’s been a very stressful two weeks for him as he looks every morning for that payment and finding it still has not come. Now he is needing to pay his car insurance by the end of the day today or it will be canceled and even MORE money will be needed to reinstate it. He has been laid off due to COVID-19 and the delay in signing the relief bill meant his last unemployment check didn’t come either. He is obviously feeling very discouraged and stressed so he has turned to the Holland Helpers as a last ditch effort to try and make his ends meet.
The car insurance cost is $200 (including a late fee) but his checking account is overdrawn by $80 right now so the organizers decided to ask for $280 so that the funds collected can go directly deposited into his checking account (so the organizers don’t have to handle the cash or transfer of funds) and make it balance.
Thank you for helping!!
