James A. Meadows went to be with the Lord on Fedruary 12, 2018.
James spent 20 days in the hospital after getting the Shingles Vaccine. With a 20% chance of survival he fault a long hard battle. He was admitted into Onslow Memorial Hospital with Shingles and a bacterial infection which then turned to MRSA, pneumonia. James was transported to Vidant Medical Center were he spent his last 14 days on a ventilator, fighting Shingles, Infections and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. Dialysis was a piece of the doctors hope to get him on a better road to recovery. But dialysis was too late, his body had swelled like a balloon and blisters had started forming. His body was just too sick and his lungs so badly damaged. After so many drops in blood pressure and oxygen levels led to no hope for dialysis and doctors felt his brain function was compromised. The doctors done all they could do for him.
He is suffering over, he is with his Lord and Savior.
James only had Medicare for insurance and no life insurance. He retired from farming on disability and struggled month by month with prior medical expenses.
His widowed wifes only source of income is what he left behind and no insurance.
We ask for help with funeral and medical expenses. Every little bit will help as we moran the loss of this sweet loving, hard working man that I call Daddy!
