My battle with chiari and IIH

My name is Constance. I am 24 years old with 2 young babies and a husband. In 2013 I was diagnosed with an incurable brain disease called PsuedoTumor Cerbri. After a few months on medicine and multiple spinal taps they decided to insert an LP shunt in June. In July my shunt broke and I had to have another surgery. In Oct of 13 my shunt broke again and I had to have another surgery to fix it. After that, everything seemed fine until a few months ago I became sick and was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation. My brain has shifted and is falling into the back of my neck. It has caused stroke like symtpoms, numbness, weakness and severe headaches. I will be sent to Dallas this week to have a surgery consult and our insurance is only covering a small amount of all my MRI's, my test and surgeries and traveling back and forth to Dallas is going to be financially tough for our family.
