Daisy's Dukes has been set up to raise money for Daisy and Rett syndrome.
Daisy is two years old and has been diagnosed with Rett Syndrome which is a disorder caused by a random genetic mutation on the X - chromosome, it mainly affects girls.
Girls go through period of regression where they lose the ability to walk, speak, use their hands and often to eat properly. Other symptoms such as seizures can develop along with scoliosis, breathing difficulties and digestive problems
There are armies of scientists developing ways to cure this disorder as they've discovered it can be reversed. Also, they are working on drugs to help with symptoms.
Until that day, I have set up this page to help raise money towards an important piece of equipment that Daisy will need when she gets a bit older. These girls aren't mentally disabled but are unable to communicate to us. So, to enable her to communicate with me and access education she would benefit from Tobii eye gaze technology. This technology allows her to access education too.
The rest of the money raised will go towards researching a cure. Reverserett.Org.uk

You can also enter a draw to win 2 Take That tickets for the O2 arena London on June 4th. Each entry is a £5 donation. Simply donate £5 state your name along with Take That in the comment. You can enter as many times as you like. Example: £20 = 4 entries.
Draw will take place on the 15th of May.
