8th Grade Camping Trip: Yosemite

Help me and 60 of my classmates see snow for the first time. We are 8th graders at BVHM, an inner city school in San Francisco.  And while the physical distance between us and the snow is not too far, logistically, it's as far away as Narnia. But now, our cool teachers at school are trying to take us to Yosemite for a week in the middle of January. Thing is though, it costs a lot and we need your help. We need to raise $25,000 to pay for the Outdoor Education program which includes food, a place to stay, and guides who will teach us stuff about nature and being outside in the snow. Please pitch in if you can to help us get to go on this once in a lifetime trip. I heard that if you put your tongue on something metal in the winter time that it will stick. I want to know if this is true.
