"celebration of life" expenses

My dad, Demetrio "Mitch" Barrios was a man, unlike any other. He was laid to rest, on July 19, and has been the hardest pain to endure. He was a wonderful father, husband, uncle, son, friend and so much more. Diagnosed with kidney failure in 1998, fought a deadly coma in 2006 just weeks before his transplant and many more years of battling illnesses, he was finally a successful transplant recipient in 2009 for 5 years. Even than, he battled so much more and because life was so precious to him, He fought long and hard, and now he is resting, pain free.

He helped many people throughout his life, because even when he was in need, he still continued to help others. He was a member of City life car club of ventura county, served as Vice President and organized toys for tots, he was employee of the year for Mayo Lab and even did the simplest gestures for people of the community like the mail men/women. This loss, is tremendous to our family, he leaves behind his loving wife of 36 years, his 3 children, 3 grandchildren (one on the way) and an entire family and community of people who are heartbroken. For all the years of help he gave, our family needs yours. To give him the celebration of life he deserves. The amazing man he is, is something worth celebrating, he was a positive, happy and loving man you never saw him do anything other than smile, crack a joke and laugh. We miss him so much, we hope that you can help us in donating to his memorial fund to help cover costs for what we call his celebration of life.
