Therfield Sponsored Walk

We will need the whole school community to come together for the walk to be successful and staff will be walking the route as well as students. This is an opportunity for the whole school community to come together once again and overcome the challenge of the 10 mile walk!

Therfield Trust 
The Therfield Trust has been working immensely hard over years to raise money that goes towards funding supplies, facilities and opportunities for students across the school.  In recent years they have contributed towards the Drama Studio build and the new Food Preparation room.

Pancreatic Cancer UK 
Following the very sad loss of Mr Rob Moorhouse this year from the staff we would like to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.  Rob was a well-loved member of staff by all that knew him and is very much missed here at the school.  We would love to be able to do something special in his honour.
 
Statistics show that less than 1% of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer live for more than 10 years and 37% of cases are preventable.  Pancreatic cancer is the 6th most common cause of cancer death in the UK, accounting for 6% of all cancer deaths (2016).  If you would like more information please see the websitehttps://www.pancreaticcancer.org.uk/.
