Buzzed for Brian

Hi guys, this page is for my cousin Brian. Brian was diagnosed with Leukemia in October 2017, the goal is to help raise $2500+ for the medical expenses. If I reach this goal, I'LL SHAVE MY HEAD!
Yes, you read that right. GONE!

Below is some words from his beautiful wife Felicia on what has been going on so far, as well as a separate link to their individual GoFundMe page:

On October 27th, 2017, eight days after our 3rd wedding anniversary, my husband Brian (28) was diagnosed with Ph+ B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It all happened so quickly, symptoms started within a few weeks. We had our yearly checkup not that long ago and everything was totally normal, so cancer was completely unexpected. He had just done an internship in San Francisco where he had been so healthy and energetic from trekking around the city for 2 months. When he came back home we kept up the exercise and then he started getting strange symptoms. The most worrisome was the fatigue that kept getting worse. I took him to urgent care where they tested his blood and saw that he had a severely low hemoglobin level and the doctor told us to go to the Emergency Room right away. It was there that we were given the diagnosis of an acute blood cancer. From there we were transferred to UCI Medical Center and we haven't left the hospital since.

The first day at the hospital he had 5 blood transfusions, a PICC line catheter procedure, a bone marrow biopsy and a catheter inserted into the artery in his neck for leukapheresis treatment to speed up the removal of the leukemia cells that were flooding his blood. Since then, he's had 7 lumbar punctures, more blood and platelet transfusions and he just finished his first cycle of chemo. Through all this he's had the most positive attitude and he makes sure all visitors and nurses leave his room laughing.

He's one semester away from graduating from his BFA program at CSULB which he will be continuing while going through 7 more cycles of chemotherapy treatment. We need help to cover our insurance deductibles, travel costs for treatments, and daily expenses.

We are so close to everything we've been working towards for our future and we need your help to make it through this. Thank you.
