Buying and Producing PPE for the community
Donation protected
In recent times, hospitals and other essential businesses have been faced with challenges acquiring Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) due to COVID-19. Being a part of the San Gabriel Valley for the last twenty years, West Covina High School's Team 968 RAWC (Robotic Alliance of West Covina) would like to support our community by making and donating PPE to various local hospitals and essential “first responder” organizations.
Currently, our team has produced face shields using our own materials but our supplies are beginning to run low. With this GoFundMe, we are hoping to fund our purchases of plastic and 3D printing materials to continue making face shields, as well as begin acquiring protective masks and other sanitation products for donation to our local medical organizations.
With your support, Team 968 RAWC hopes to stay on course with our weekly production and distribution goals to aid our community’s medical staff. If you have any questions about our process and objective, email us at [email redacted].
