Help Haiti By Buying Haitian Art

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Jean-Marc Flambert. I am a Haitian / Sri Lankan and living in the UK.

I have decided once again to raise money as Haiti once again needs help. I did this after Hurricane Matthew in 2016 and helped hundred of people by buying Haitian art from affected Haitians, allowing them to build back better. I believe in trade and not aid.

This time I am accepting donations as well.

I am not skilled to deliver these essentials - I will leave this to the charities. I want to focus on trade not aid. Haiti is best known for her art, and this heritage is my focus. Plus, I am then able to give Haitians dignity of labour by buying their produce rather than them having to beg.

My target is to collect £10,000 and buy arts and craft from people in Haiti.

I have £ 400 worth of art at home in London from my personal collection, and a friend is buying and shipping me some more art. This will arrive by the 1st October 2021 if not sooner.

You will be sent some art in return for your purchase by the end of November the latest. You money is used to purchase the art from artists affected by the hurricane, to pay the commission to this site, to ship it to the UK and to post it to you. There are no hidden extras.
Your Tourism Partner Ltd. will channel the funds.

This is not about emergency response but restoring livelihoods.
