Cuan is an independent, family-run cafe and unique event space serving delicious coffee and epic sandwiches on the edge of Belfast's city centre. We are also Northern Ireland's only Real Living Wage employer in the hospitality sector.
Our many wonderful regulars know the story by heart - we took all the money that we didn't have, put it into a business we knew nothing about and somehow ended up making what our customers consider to be the best sandwiches in Belfast. One of us nearly died in the process and the other had a baby but those are stories for another time (or you can listen to our Best of Belfast podcast with the wonderful Matt Thompson here if you're interested!)
Now, thanks to this unprecedented lockdown, our business is in real and immediate jeopardy. We're a hospitality start up, we survive week to week, and while we are working to shift the business to take away, collection and Deliveroo, this will take time that we don't think we have.
So, after much hesitation, we are asking for your help to survive.
If you like what we do or like the sound of what we do, we are asking that you buy a gift voucher or book a bash at Cuan to allow us some breathing room and a fighting chance of making it through the apocalypse...
Our gift vouchers come in increments of £10, we will custom print each one and post them to you with a huge thank you!
Want to feed the office when they come back? If you purchase £100 of vouchers, we'll add another £20 of vouchers to your bundle to make sure everyone gets a bun on us :)
If you want to go all out, why not book a post-apocalyptic bash for £500? After feeding you and 39 of your friends to within an inch of your life with a generous hot buffet, we'll lay on the entertainment so you can make the most of seeing each other again (and of us being BYOB!)
