The local strikes by the NEU at Wanstead High School are causing immense pressure on everyone in the school community - the kids, parents/guardians and also the school staff.

For those staff working in the school on strike days it must be very stressful, and as a small token of our gratitude for them being there to support the small proportion of kids that have been able to be covered I thought it'd be nice to arrange a simple 'Thank you' gesture.

With the funds I'll go buy and deliver some morning tea (i.e. cakes) by way of a thank you on our behalf.

Total amount raised will be disclosed on the WHS Strikes WhatsApp group along with what was purchased using the funds.
