Hello! We are a team of students from Chapman University raising money for our senior thesis film, titled, "Buttons the Great."
Our film tells the story of Buttons, who ran away from home as a teenager to follow in his dad's footsteps of becoming a clown, against the strict will of his mother. Years later, Buttons must wrestle with his failing clown career and repairing his relationship with his dying mother before she passes. It's a hard thing to love someone when you refuse to accept who you are.
We already have some money raised, but making great movies takes a little bit of money! That's where we need your help, reaching our goal will let us have amazing props, costumes, makeup, camera equipment, and help us reach the full potential of the story. Any help at all is extremely appreciated, and even if you can't help, sharing this gofundme with others is just as good!
