Dear Friends and Family,
I am excited to say that I will be traveling as part of the medical team to Southeast Asia. As some of you know, I am on the road of dentistry and I think this is a great opportunity to experience the poor dental care in third world countries. This team will provide medical and dental care to the rural areas where there is no medical care. This particular area has not have medical care in the last 15 years due to civil unrest, however some doctors and nurses have gathered together to set up a new medical office and new medical clinic. I am honored to help this newly developed project and give my support in the clinics and just to get to know the people there. I am looking forward to the new experiences I will have in this area and how it will benefit my road to dentistry. My heart goes out to the local people of third world countries that doesn’t have the privilege like we do today.
With the support of my parents and my church Living Stones, they were able to take care of half of my finances. I hope with the support of my friends and family, the remaining finances of the trip will be covered. The remaining cost is $1800 and all funds need to be secure by July 15.
