Help Butterfield Trail Elementary's 3rd grade Odyssey of the Mind Team on the "Road to Iowa" as they compete at World Finals in May! These seven kids have worked hard for months to create, build, solve problems, practice, and grow in teamwork and character. After placing 4th in Regional competition, the team advanced to State placing 2nd and earning a spot at World Finals.
With no available funding from the school, travel and registration costs must be raised entirely by the team. Your generous donation will help the team experience this life changing global event.
Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state, and World level. Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and from about 25 other countries participate in the program.
