Butter & Filth 2.0: A Place For All

Donation protected

Butter & Filth is growing faster than we could have ever expected.

We are expanding our studio space this fall after only 6 months of opening our first brick and mortar studio. Our current space is being bull dozed, so we secured a fantastic spot in Richmond's Libbie Mill/Midtown neighborhood near the 64/95 interchange. Construction is moving along and we aim to create the most beautiful studio on the east coast; a true destination for others and a home for our community of the last (nearly) 10 years. We can't do this without your help.

We are seeking to grow not only as a pole studio, but as artists and teachers as well. This means that your cold hard cash will be funneled straight into the development of a space, training program, research, and offerings that will bring you access to a kind of space and idea where you are safe to explore, be creative, become besties with your femininity and sexuality, be at home in your body, and feel absolutely beautiful and worthy. Every dollar counts. Heres a list of the stuff we need to budget for:

-Front desk computer and printer.

-A Boss AF Front desk build by local Richmond artists.

-Signage.

-Lighting.

-Sound.

-Decor and details.

-Fitness Equipment.

-Storage Solutions.

-Working Capitol.

-Legal Fees.

-Brand expansion costs.

This stuff isn't cheap, but its the type of essential thing that makes something great even better.

Currently, we have our main buildout done, floors are here, poles and mirrors are on order, and holes are being cut into walls so that our electricians can install lighting. We mean business with this space. Your kind donation will seal up loose ends (yes, loose ends are $15k, crazy right?), and make it possible for us to make this place sparkle...just like you deserve.

We mean business. Take a look at some of the images below of our journey to B&F 2.0.
This is our space, originally. Black, red, grey carpet. A class room of sorts.

Signing the Lease!

The start of construction. We raised the roof. Literally. 3 feet to be exact.

Base Coat Finished!

Our bathroom is the size of B&F 1.0. No really. The bathroom is as big as our current studio.

The most beautiful cool white you've ever seen on a wall.

Flooring fit for an ice queen.
