Nina (Virginia) and Nick are going through an extremely challenging time right now.
Nick is undergoing chemotherapy after learning his cancer returned in Jan, 2018.
He has experienced multiple hospitalizations over the past few months due to complications from chemotherapy as well as the cancer itself.
Nina and Nick have two daughters, Ella who is 5 and Vera who is 8 months.
Serious illness has been tough on the girls, especially Ella who is old enough to understand some of what is going on.
Juggling the needs of young children with Nick’s treatment is tough-and while they have a wonderful network of family and friends, the financial, emotional, and mental struggle are incomprehensible.
We (Nina’s friends) are starting a fund to ease the burden of constant trips, medical bills, and to generally help with the well being of this incredibly strong and beautiful young family.
