Update: After a second round of forced closures 
just before the holiday season, we wanted to ensure we helped support a happy holiday for all.  So many are financially hurting this year, more then others and in the spirit of giving all employees are receiving a bodega box of essentials crafted by their management teams.  Ultimately we wanted to also ensure all of our employees with children received a toy to help brighten what may be a hard year. A extra toy can go a long way for a child this time of year!

We came up with the idea of Toys for BD Tots!  The managers have collected ages and gender of all kids and we have began purchasing toys for all. If anyone would like to donate a toy (7 left to purchase) or donate money (our goal is to raise $1,000).

Overnight, with the forced COVID19 closures, we had to let go of our entire staff of servers and hourly employees.  During this time, we felt that the most important way to ensure the safety and wellness our team, was to make sure they would be able to maintain their health insurance should they need access to health care.

Although we have committed to paying our portions of our hourly employees health insurance premiums through April, we will not be able to after that. Our first goal is to reach $7600.00 to go towards ensuring that their health insurance premiums are maintained. 

Additionally, we continue to provide our staff with a meal per day but not all are able to come in to receive this. If we are able to meet our initial goal, our next goal will be to raise $43,000.00 which will provide $200.00 towards each hourly employee to assist them with their groceries or another immediate needs.

Each member of our incredible team works with us because they believe in the quality of the health and wellness of our entire community. We appreciate anything you can give to help us give back to them at this time.
