Buster's Emergency Surgical Fund

This fundraiser is for Sema Hernandez's dog Buster, who was attacked this evening by a neighbor's unleashed dog while Sema's son was walking Buster. Sema and her family are with Buster at a 24-hour veterinary hospital, where doctors are assessing his condition and preparing to treat him. The projected cost - at this time - is between $2,172.25 and $2,289.84, just for the emergency work. Follow-up care could be at least another $500.

Thank you to everyone for your donations, for sharing the donation link, and for your words of comfort to Sema. Buster's care, including follow-up visits, is now fully paid, thanks to your help.

Sema reports that Buster is healing and is expected to recover fully from his injuries. He had no internal damage, and his sutures will be removed in the coming weeks.
